The autumn chill is moving in on us and there's no better way to celebrate the season than with fireside treats. Sure, you could throw together some s'mores or you could try a different type of treat. Using marshmallows and some chocolate treats you might already have in your pantry, you can make your own deliciously scary marshmallow art. This is the perfect little food craft for you, your friends, or your kids.
Here are some of the supplies we used for our treats, but don't limit yourself. Go to the candy aisle in the grocery store and grab whatever you'd like. But make sure you get some frosting to use as an adhesive.
By far our greatest creation, it's the tasty little monster, Frankenmallow! We put food coloring with white frosting and mixed it together to develop the yummy formula for the monster's green hue.
Stick some skewers or fancy straws in your marshmallows or just use toothpicks with washi tape. Make ghouls, gremlins, monsters or mummies. It's your chance to get your hands dirty and enjoy every minute of it. Yum!
